September 3rd 2013, the scene at National Hill View Public School is electrifying. Enthusiasm to participate, passion to achieve, thirst for knowledge, aggressive competitive spirit, excitement and impatience to wait for an audience question; if you think it is an event for the students, you are mistaken. This is Qwiz’, the interschool teacher quiz hosted by National Hill View Public School, Bangalore.

In’Qwiz’itive Gurus

It’s 2nd September 2014 and as the teachers gather at the venue of the ‘Teacher’s Qwiz 2014’, their eyes fall on the aesthetically pleasing rangoli at the entrance. One would be left wondering at the intricate design of the spider web and its association with the surrounding images that managed to strike the right chord of wonder in each of its viewers.

The beautiful rangoli at the entrance, the soothing classical vocals, accompanied by the violin, veena, mridanga and the graceful dance performance, were how the teachers were welcomed to Qwiz 2015! The Teacher's Qwiz is an annual event organised by the National Hill View Public School, Rajarajeshwari Nagar, Bangalore

Revival – The Traditional Way

The Teachers’ Qwiz organized by National hill View Public School (NHVPS) never fails to enthrall teachers across the city. Teachers, like children, wait eagerly every year to take part in this one of a kind event. Buzzers are pressed; hands are raised to answer the questions and there is cheering all around. All these associated with children quizzing, is seen here, where there is a reversal of roles.  Teachers enjoy themselves to the fullest.

We were at an inter school quiz like any other. They cheered, they clapped, they jumped with joy for giving the right answers and also looked disappointed when they got it wrong. The only difference, these were teachers from various schools battling with each other!
