Presidency School Bangalore South (PSBS), each year strives to give back to the society in many ways. A blood donation camp, in association with Red Cross, was organised by the Social Science department in the school campus in June 2019.

The event was successful with participation from teachers, staff, parents and ex-students. It was heartening to see so many people coming together for a noble cause. The donors included many first timers, and for others, it was an act of repeated generosity. The donors were delighted to be contributing towards people in real need of blood and save them from deep crisis situation. The Red Cross Society was immensely appreciative of the gesture as it is a continued support for the second year.

This event was organised and was executed due to the mindfulness and innovativeness of the school Principal, J Bhuvaneswari.
